Two wonderful reunion stories from Lost Dogs Arizona!
This little NEIGHBOR is HOME after a YEAR and 17 days! We say NEVER GIVE UP HOPE and here is why!
NEIGHBOR went missing on July 15, 2015.
Her people never gave up hope and had us keep her post up to date. On Aug 1, 2016 they got a call that she had been picked up in Buckeye.
The people who found her took her to the vet to have her scanned. Since she had a microchip (very important) and her information on the chip was current (also very important) she was BACK HOME AGAIN on Aug 1st 2016.
Welcome home Neighbor!
Toto Agrees “There’s No Place Like Home”
While a microchip was not part of this reunion, the fantastic efforts of lost pet facebook pages, and loving community members who take the time to make a difference.
This story also clearly shows how a found pet can be unrecognizable even to the owner!
Lost Dogs Arizona shared this happy post:
Toto, the Bichon Frise from Phoenix, Maricopa Co., is back home AFTER EIGHT MONTHS!
This is an amazing story. Toto went missing on 6-18-2015. His owners posted him on Lost Dogs Arizona.
The photo on the left is the one that was posted and saved to our Missing June 2015 photo album.
He was found by his hero – Ellen – on 2-16-2016, eight months later.
A HUGE THANKS to Ellen for taking it upon herself to do the searching and making the match!
