After 6 Years, Turbo “Back Home”

Thanks to KTNV Action 13 News and reporter Bryan Callahan for this amazing tale!

Six years after losing a pet, the last thing the former owner expects is a call saying we have your dog!

Yet that is precisely what recently happened to Veteran Ray McCullogh who got his dog Turbo shortly after leaving the Marines in 2008.  Tragically, while out one day, his then girlfriend sold this little Italian Greyhound.  McCullogh was heartbroken.

Over time, McCullogh got married, but fond memories of Turbo were kept alive and shared with his wife.  The two moved to Las Vegas, which is where Ray recently received an amazing call!  Turbo was “found” in Michigan and traced back to him due to a scanned microchip.

Thankfully Turbo’s microchip was registered and still had current contact info, reinforcing never to give up and to always keep your microchip contact info updated!

Today Ray and Turbo have been reunited thanks to friends who helped bring the little dog so many miles back “home”.

Remember to microchip, register, and keep your contact info updated!

Even if your pet has gone missing and it’s been some time, you might one day get that miracle call!
